Did you ever lose your phone in a week and a half ago? Did you go to the shops and buy a new one but it didn’t work? Did you keep trying to boot up your phone and it would get stuck at the Oppo logo? Did you get it to work and then found out there was a slight problem with the bootloader and it wouldn’t let you change the modes to install new software? Well, I have a solution for you.

I have been using Oppo A37 since it came out. I loved it. It was the best smartphone in the market with its smaller size, good looking design, fast performance and super powerful camera. Then it became slow. I tried to unlock the phone the first time, the second time it failed. I then tried to factory reset it, but it froze during the process. Then I tried to hard reset it. The phone was dead. I thought I would have to throw it away. By some miracle, Oppo’s factory reset process allowed me to start fresh. Now I am using Oppo A37 again.

Why do we need to hard reset and factory reset our phone? Simple, to fix some errors, to make your phone work as good as the day you bought it and also to make your phone work as good as the day you bought it. However, this process has a lot to do with the Android OS and the device.

Here’s how to Hard Reset your Oppo A37 Android Phone. When you forget the password to your Oppo A37 phone, you may unlock it (Pattern lock).

 

Resetting your phone deletes all of your data, including pictures, applications, and contacts. Before you do the reset, make sure you have a backup of all your data.

 

 

Hard Reset Oppo A37

If at all feasible, backup your Android data before doing a factory reset.

  • Turn off your Oppo A37 phone. By pressing and holding the power button.
  • Then press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time.
